Adventures in Ledevic
Zlato is small town north of Lake Jezero and the T-intersection of the Arthurian and Aransan Rivers. The most important claim to fame that Zlato holds is being located at the place where the main road of the Arthurian River crosses the waters. As such, it gets some traffic, but nearly every cargo boat would rather save the time and continue sailing to Ledevic before stopping.
The most remarkable feature of Zlato is the 60-foot tower located in the northwest area of town. The tallest thing for miles around, the tower is owned by the enigmatic mage Jemaera. She can be seen in town occasionally, but usually stays within the confines of her tower.
The second most remarkable feature of Zlato is its drawbridge. Not terribly complex, the Zlato drawbridge is noteworthy only for its relatively long length of 100 feet at this particularly wide section of the river. Many wonder why a simpler bridge wasn’t constructed in other, more sensical parts of the river. Zlatans usually respond by saying that it wasn’t necessary, leaving the asker of the question thoroughly unanswered.
